BIO

Landascape Architect and Research Fellow based in Milan/Turin. Her research focuses on geographical research method, cartographic experimentation, and data visualization. She is currently a Research Fellow in Groundlab AA (London) and History and Theory course tutor at MSc/MArch Architectural Association Landscape Urbanism programme and AAVS Metropolitan Landscapes.

She has lectured and been a visiting critic at design schools including TuDelft (Master Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences, Course: Spatial Strategies for the Global Metropolis), Domus Academy (Master di progettazione di interventi urbani e territoriali, Course: Urban and landscape design), Polytechnic of Milan (Interdisciplinary Workshop_Extraction Landscapes), and Polytechnic of Turin.
Her work has been exhibited at the Harvard GSD Studio Ecologies 2022. She took part at the International Symposium of Landscape Urbanism 2022 at Centro Pecci (IT), and she was the curator of the SEEDS Call for papers.
She collaborated with Elisa C. Cattaneo in publications and international competitions, conducting research at various scales, from experimental cartography to landscape ecology. She is the co-author with M. Pasquali of the winning project “Cantù digital Eco-Logics” for the Europan 17 (2023). 

MSc graduated at Architectural Association Landscape Urbanism, London (2021). During the MSc at Politecnico of Milan in Architecture (graduated with honors, 2019), she won the Erasmus+ bursary at FAO (Lisboa) and the Abroad Master Thesis Scholarship at the PUC Santiago de Chile, now published “Yuxtaposiciòn Extrema. A symbiotic relationship between the spontaneous settlements and the morphology of the natural context” (Maggioli 2019).





DISPACE L.A.

Dispace LA is an interdisciplinary design practice and research agency co-founded by Carlotta Olivari and Margherita Pasquali, based in Milan (IT).
The studio operates at the intersetion of architecture, landscape and urbanism, working through a diverse range of outcomes-from landscape architecture design, landscape urbanism, experimental research to data visualisation.
